You've been looking for a clear view of your remote control programming, but after seeing what RC 5.34 has to offer you were still left in the dark? Don't worry, we're going to show you how to install this free application and get a clear view of your programming in no time! In order to use RC 5.34, you need to have a compatible USB dongle installed on your computer. A dongle is a small circuit board that can be plugged into the USB port on your computer. It sends the signals from the remote control to your computer, making it accessible through your operating system's input/output devices. RC 5.34 supports Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista/7, Mac OS X 10.4 or later, Linux, FreeBSD and Haiku. We think that it should work with most modern operating systems, but you will need to check if anyone has confirmed this for our application yet. Once you have installed RC 5. 34, you should see a new menu item named "RC 5.34", located under the "Remote Control" menu. This application allows you to control several types of devices besides your remote control. The commands that it supports are:- Lights - Dimmers - TV/AV Transmitters - Ir sensorsYou can also use this program for remote administration of your computer's network settings, to access your computer's webcam and to take screenshots. Compatible devices: Some devices work in certain situations and not others. For example, some IR transmitters do not work when the device has two different names in the programming... You can use an IR repeater, or a simple IR LED to send the remote control's signals. You must have a USB dongle device installed on your PC in order to use this software. Compatible devices: The names of the remotes from the buttons to the LEDs are displayed as a direct referential reference. It is also possible to edit these names by hand, or indeed by copying and pasting them from another remote. If you change a remote's name, you must activate the new name for it to be recognised by RC 5.34. Important: If you change a remote's name, make sure that you also change its programming accordingly. The reference name can be added to the programming using two methods:- Adding the reference name by hand. This method is useful when you want to add a reference name that is not in your list of pre-programmed references.- Adding the programming from another remote. This method is useful if you have another remote with a different layout, but with programming similar enough to allow you to copy its commands into your existing remote's programming, or indeed edit an existing command into one that works better in the same place in your layout. cfa1e77820
